Holiday Chalet S’Zähni Booking Terms and Conditions  

1. General Information These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of our holiday chalet, consisting of the following booking options:

• Flat 1: Large flat with 5 bedrooms, accommodating up to 7 people.

• Flat 2: Smaller flat with 1 bedroom, and one sleeping couch in the living room, accommodating up to 4 people.

• Entire Chalet: Both flats combined, accommodating up to 11 people.

By booking our chalet, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Swiss law shall apply to all agreements and any disputes arising from this contract.

2. Booking and Payment

1. Booking Confirmation:

   • A booking is confirmed once we receive full payment of the total rental price.

   • The full payment must be made at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

2. Payment Methods:

   • Payments can be made via bank transfer or credit card.

   • All payments must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF).

3. Late Payment:

   • If full payment is not made at the time of booking, the reservation will not be confirmed.

4. Additional Costs:

   • A mandatory fee of CHF 25 per person per stay will be charged for bedsheets and towels.

   • An end-of-stay cleaning fee will be applied as follows:

     • Flat 1: CHF 200

     • Flat 2: CHF 150

     • Entire Chalet: CHF 350

3. Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Guest:

   • Cancellations must be made in writing (via email or letter).

   • The following cancellation fees apply:

     • More than 30 days before check-in: 50% of the total rental price.

     • Between 14 and 30 days before check-in: 75% of the total rental price.

     • Less than 14 days before check-in or in case of no-show: 100% of the total rental price.

2. Refund for Cancellations:

   • If the guest cancels more than 30 days before the check-in date, a 50% refund will be issued.

   • If the guest cancels between 14 and 30 days before the check-in date, a 25% refund will be issued.

   • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the check-in date.

3. Cancellation by the Owner:

   • In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

4. Security Deposit

1. A refundable security deposit of CHF 500 is required upon arrival.

2. The security deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure, provided there is no damage to the property.

5. Check-in and Check-out

1. Check-in: From 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.

2. Check-out: By 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

Late check-outs may incur additional charges unless previously agreed.

6. House Rules

1. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet.

2. Pets are allowed only with prior written approval.

3. Guests are expected to respect the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

4. Any damages caused by guests must be reported immediately and will be deducted from the security deposit.

7. Liability

1. The owner is not liable for any personal injuries, accidents, or theft occurring during the stay.

2. Guests are responsible for their own travel insurance.

8. Privacy Policy

1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection laws.

2. Your data will only be used for booking and communication purposes.

9. Legal Requirements

1. According to Swiss law, guests must provide valid identification upon check-in.

2. Tourist tax, if applicable, will be charged in addition to the rental price and must be paid upon arrival.

10. Force Majeure

The owner is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. This contract is governed by Swiss law.

2. Any disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Canton of Schwyz.
